My stay at Hotel Casa Tere was a mixed bag. The location in Getsemani was fantastic, super close to the city's vibrant culture and nightlife. However, the room I stayed in was quite cramped without any windows, which was uncomfortable. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was decent enough to get me going each day.

Rooms

The room I had was small, cramped, and lacked windows, making it feel more claustrophobic. However, the bed was comfy, which was a plus.
Service
9.0
The staff were very friendly, attentive, and really went out of their way to help with luggage and anything else I needed. It made a difference in my stay.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location was spot on. Just a few blocks away from the Walled City, I could easily walk to shops and restaurants.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was included, and while it was decent, it didn't blow me away. It was a bit plain for my taste, but it did the job.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities felt basic, and the noise from nearby street life was quite noticeable at night, which affected my sleep.

I found Hotel Casa Tere to be a bit hit or miss. While the location in Getsemani is fantastic for exploring Cartagena, I encountered several issues during my stay. The check-in process was chaotic, and the room lacked some basic amenities. However, I appreciated the friendly staff and clean environment. Overall, my experience was decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Rooms
6.0
My room was spacious but notably dark, lacking natural light and a proper window. Though the air conditioning worked well, the general ambiance felt a bit cramped.
Service
8.0
The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive, making my stay more pleasant despite the hiccups, particularly during check-in.
Location
9.0
The hotel is ideally located near the vibrant Getsemani neighborhood, making it easy to explore local sights and enjoy nearby dining options. I loved being within walking distance of everything.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast was simple but tasty, providing a good start to my sightseeing days. However, the dining area was quite small, which could lead to waiting for a table during busy times.
Facilities
5.0
While the facilities were adequate, the rooftop was smaller than anticipated, and there were no noticeable luxury amenities, which was a bit disappointing.

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Casa Tere. The location in Getsemani was fantastic for exploring the city, but I faced several issues during my stay. While the staff was friendly and my room had a decent AC, the overall condition of the facilities left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
My room was rather small and had no window, just a shutter to the corridor. It felt cramped, and the musty smell was quite uncomfortable. However, the bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well during my stay.
Service
8.0
I found the staff to be attentive and friendly, always willing to help with my inquiries. They genuinely added a touch of warmth to the experience.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location was a highlight. It was a short walk to the walled city, and I felt safe wandering around Getsemani, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite basic and could definitely use improvement. Though I appreciated the fresh fruit, the selection was limited, focusing mostly on eggs each day.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were underwhelming, particularly the tiny pool that didn’t seem to be well-maintained. The construction happening during my stay also detracted from the overall ambiance.

I had a mix of experiences at Hotel Casa Tere. The location in Getsemani was a huge plus, as I was close to restaurants and the quaint streets full of character. However, I faced some hiccups with the check-in process due to ongoing construction, and my room was quite small with limited amenities. The breakfast was decent but not amazing, and while I enjoyed the rooftop area, there were some maintenance issues that affected my stay.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was small and faced the hallway, which felt awkward. The AC worked well, but I expected a bit more comfort for the price.
Service
7.0
While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, I did run into one receptionist who was a bit nosy. Overall, the service was generally good.
Location
10.0
The hotel is perfectly located close to the lively parts of Getsemani and only a short walk from the walled city, making it super convenient for exploring the area.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was alright with fresh fruits and eggs, but it could have been better with more variety or taste.
Facilities
7.0
I appreciated the rooftop area for relaxing, but there were some maintenance issues, like the broken chlorine holder at the pool, which took away from the experience.

My stay at Hotel Casa Tere was mostly enjoyable, with friendly staff and a great location offset by some minor issues. The rooftop pool offered beautiful views, but the breakfast became a bit repetitive. While the rooms were comfortable, I wished for more modern amenities and a better dining experience. Overall, I'd consider returning, though with some reservations.

Rooms
7.0
The room was clean and spacious, featuring a balcony with street views, perfect for people-watching. However, the bathroom had some old plumbing issues and couldn't flush toilet paper, which was inconvenient. Overall, though, the space was comfortable.
Service
9.0
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, always eager to assist with recommendations and making our stay positive. They were particularly helpful with our luggage and arranged transportation for us.
Location
9.0
Casa Tere is centrally located in Getsemani, just a quick walk from the vibrant streets filled with restaurants and shops. It offered a mix of lively and quieter surroundings, which I really appreciated.
Dining
6.0
The included breakfast was simple yet had some variety, but it could be improved as it felt repetitive after a while. Still, the traditional items like arepas were enjoyable, and it was a nice way to start my day.
Facilities
7.0
The rooftop pool area was a highlight, offering comfort and gorgeous sunset views. However, some facilities, like the pool's chlorine holder, need maintenance, which detracted from the experience a bit.
